ExpressionFunction

com.phasmidsoftware.number.expression.expr.ExpressionFunction
See theExpressionFunction companion trait

Value members

Concrete methods

def lift1(f: Field => Field): Eager => Eager

Lifts a function from Field => Field to a function that maps Valuable => Valuable. The function transforms an input Valuable into another Valuable by applying the provided Field => Field function, handling various types of Valuable instances through pattern matching.

Lifts a function from Field => Field to a function that maps Valuable => Valuable. The function transforms an input Valuable into another Valuable by applying the provided Field => Field function, handling various types of Valuable instances through pattern matching.

NOTE this may be temporary, since we should be able to use the Valuable without resorting to the old Field type.

Value parameters

f

a function that maps a Field to a transformed Field, which will be used to derive the resulting Valuable from the input.

Attributes

Returns

a function that takes a Valuable as input and returns a transformed Valuable after applying the underlying Field => Field transformation.

def lift2(f: (Field, Field) => Field): (Eager, Eager) => Eager
